Workampers & WorkingCouples Seeking WorkSearching for a full time, live in position with an established, busy B&B (or small resort) - I have plenty of service related work in my background from cleaning private homes five days a week through the 80's and most of the 90's, to four years catering to rock stars for Philadelphia based concert promoters Electric Factory Concerts (back in the 70's). I also spent two years working on a Palm Beach based private yacht as a cook/stewardess, and from one extreme to the other, I spent a year or two serving drinks and burgers and catching the occasional flying bottles in a biker bar. With the exception of the last twelve years, my employment history has always been service related work and I've learned to appreciate and respect all people. I love staying busy and working hard, I'm a morning person, up early and ready to go. I can/will work inside or out, I actually enjoy cleaning and I'm very thorough and detail oriented....I also enjoy doing outside work, I'm not afraid to get dirty. I can also help out in the kitchen whenever needed. I learned to make some pretty fancy hors d'oeuvres on that yacht :-) I'm always interested in learning new things and absolutely do not mind pitching in where ever needed. If you'd like to teach me other aspects of running a B&B to give yourself time for other things, or to give yourself some time off....I'm totally open to that. I could even paint some wonderful murals for you if you like ;-) Did I mention I've spent the last twelve years as a mural artist? All I require is a small comfortable private room and a small salary, plus lots of work to keep me busy. I will consider all locations, but would prefer east coast. 60 year-old male, experienced in Innkeeping - I previously have been a live-in manager of a Bed & Breakfast in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I'm a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. My responsibilities included management of three helpers, maintenance of reservation software as well as mailing confirmations, bookkeeping and promotional advertising and materials. On weekdays, I provided a continental breakfast. On weekends, omelettes, quiches, pancakes, waffles, fritata's, etc. During shoulder and off-seasons, the house was promoted as a family/group house for gatherings, meetings, parties, etc. For these occasions, I prepared whatever food service clients needed including buffets, brunches and full-course gourmet dinners. I also maintained supply inventories, performed routine maintenance around property and did minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Outdoor duties included maintenance of grounds and swimming pool. We have recently celebrated our 15yr anniversary. My name is Eileen , I am 45yr old female that has landscape training (From Shasta College), Am an avid gardener, (just about anything will grow for me.). I have a lot of experience working, not only with senior's but people in general. I am very out going,love nature, and am a very hard worker. My husband's name is Duane, he is 40 yrs old. He is a mechanic(can fix anything with a motor). He also has experience with in carpentry, plumbing ,maintenance and we both have a whole lot of experience with animals. We have our own R.V. with Solar Panels, generator and Propane. We are totally self-contained and will be ready to go approx. the first week of July. We have 4 small dogs. That are "inside" dogs.
